Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized, bilingual EnglishSpanish Administrative Assistant with strong experience in collections and call center roles to join our property management team. The ideal candidate is selfmotivated, detailoriented, and confident in handling tenant relations, rent collections, and administrative tasks in a fastpaced environment. Previous experience in a call center, particularly in collections or a customer service setting, is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
Inbound Outbound Calls Handle a high volume of calls, including rent collection outreach, tenant inquiries, and Section 8related concerns.
Collections Payment Management Oversee and manage rent collection efforts professionally and tactfully, negotiating payment plans and following up on pastdue balances.
Tenant Support Conflict Resolution Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing concerns and resolving paymentrelated disputes with professionalism and empathy.
Email Correspondence Management Respond to tenant inquiries via email, ensuring clear, professional, and timely communication.
Administrative Documentation Process lease agreements, rent payment forms, notices, and other necessary documentation with accuracy and confidentiality.
Compliance Confidentiality Maintain tenant records and financial information in compliance with company policies and fair housing regulations.
Multitasking Organization Efficiently manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
Qualifications Requirements
Bilingual EnglishSpanish REQUIRED to communicate effectively with a diverse tenant base.
Call Center or OnthePhone Experience STRONGLY PREFERRED, especially in collections or customer service.
Collections Experience HIGHLY VALUED. Familiarity with rent collection procedures and tenant communication is a strong advantage.
Exceptional Communication Negotiation Skills to handle sensitive payment discussions professionally.
Strong Organizational Multitasking Abilities to manage multiple administrative tasks simultaneously.
Ability to Handle Difficult Conversations with Professionalism Tact.
Familiarity with Section 8 Rent Collection Procedures is a plus.
High Level of Discretion Confidentiality in handling sensitive tenant and financial information.
